Weingartner - Esther

Mrs. Esther Weingartner, 58, 616 S. Water St, died at her home Sunday morning. She had been in failing health three years. Born May 30, 1904, near Wesley, she was a daughter of Fred S. and Nellie A. Brown Remley. She married Ralph Weingartner in 1934. He died in 1940 in Michigan. Mrs. Weingartner was a graduate of Waynetown HS. She attended McMurray College and Indiana University. She had made her home here since the death of her husband. Surviving are a son, David L. Weingartner, who is attending Michigan State University; a brother, Walter B. Remley of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. John Schneider of Deerfield, Ill, a niece and two nephews. The body is at Bright Funeral Home where friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are pending.
